Student-Led Conferences

What are Student-Led Conferences?

Student-Led Conferences are designated times where students sit down and lead a conversation with their grown ups. During these conferences, students share their progress data, goals, growth, and take ownership of their learning. Providing opportunities like these for our students help build confidence and real-world communication skills. Teachers are there for support, but the students are the ones in charge!

When are Student-Led Conferences?

We designate two weeks of the school year to Student-Led Conferences, one in the Fall and one in the Spring. By having two conference opportunities, students are able to show growth and discuss progress.

Fall 2025: November 10 - 14

Spring 2026: March 30 - April 3

What is the adult's role at Student-Led Conferences?

Your role during these conferences is to listen, ask questions (we even provide you with some), celebrate growth, discuss areas of improvement, and help your student write or review his/her academic goals moving forward.
