Bio

Ms. Akins was born and raised in Mount Zion, Georgia. She has one son, Jacob.  Ms. Akins loves to travel and has had the opportunity to travel to many places in the United States and several  countries.  She is also an avid dog lover with fur babies of her own.

She loves middle schoolers and feel like they keep her young.  She loves teaching them science and loves instilling into them her love of the subject.
