  • Beginning 2nd year at BMS

I have served several years as a team leader and curriculum team leader.

I have been honored to work with and be mentored by many exceptional teachers.

I live in Mount Zion and attended Mount Zion School. My hobbies are reading, Pinterest, and my newest, painting. I love to travel and have fortunately been able to visit many places.  I have visited many of the states in the U.S. and the countries of France, Germany, Austria, England, and Ireland. The most heartfelt and memorable visit was to Normandy, France for the 60th commemoration of D-Day. I have been on several cruises visiting many new and exciting places. I traveled to Niagara Falls in Canada and it has become one of my favorite places. I look forward to exploring many new and exciting places in the future.

Traveling has opened my eyes to the cultures of other people and made me I feel, an overall better more well rounded person.

I have one son, Jake, who lives and works in Statesboro, Georgia. He graduated from Ogeechee  Technical College with a degree in Tourism, Hotel, and Restaurant Management.  He works at the Hampton Inn as a guest services representative, and at Walmart as a wireless sales specialist. He shares my love of travel and has lived and worked in Ireland.

I am crazy about animals and have three dogs(Sadie, Emma, and Bella) and two cats(Sophie and Rev).

I love 6th graders!  They are full of love and have a wonderful sense of adventure.  My goal this year is to instill my love of Science and Social Studies into my students.

Parents once again,  thank you in advance for letting me borrow your child this upcoming school year. I am anticipating a fun and adventurous year!
