I have been a Bowdon Red Devil all of my life.  After graduating from BHS in 1990, I attended the University of West Georgia.  In 1995, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in Math, Spanish, and French.  Three years later, I earned my Master's degree.  Continuing my education at the UWG, I completed my Specialist's degree in 2001.  I currently hold a T-6 Georgia teaching certificate with the Gifted Endorsement.

I began my teaching career in 1995 at Fairplay Middle School in Douglasville as an exploratory computer and foreign language teacher for grades 6-8.  After one year, I transfered to Haralson County Middle and taught exploratory classes for four additional years.  When Bowdon Middle School opened in 2001, I came back to my home community.  Currently, I teach 8th grade English/Language Arts.  I enjoy working and living in Bowdon.  There is no place like home!

As a proud Bowdon girl, I never had a desire to leave home.  After I married my husband, Ben Cole, in 1996, we bought a house in Bowdon.  Soon after, we started our family in 1998 with the birth of our first son, Griffin.  In August of 2001, we were blessed with another son, Roswell.  We built our current home on our family's land in 2006, and I love calling Bowdon my home now and forever!
